David McKnight, a partner in the firm, represents individuals in criminal and civil litigation in federal and state courts throughout the southeastern United States. He also represents individuals in administrative hearings before Alabama State Boards. David handles complex litigation involving the defense of individuals, companies and directors, officers and employees, in connection with criminal matters including search warrants, subpoenas, grand jury investigations, indictments, appeals and other related actions.
David is a native of Birmingham, Alabama. He received his undergraduate degree from Auburn University, and received his J.D. in 1986 from the Cumberland School of Law at Samford University. During law school, David served as a law clerk at the firm, before joining in 1986. He and his wife, Michelle, have three boys who are actively involved in area sports. The family attends and is active in The Church of Brook Hills.
